Raahi is in private preview while we tune the last few things. If you've been invited, the passphrase will get you in.
Share the ride, split the fuel — ₹5/km, fixed forever. Verified drivers, blind ratings, escrow-protected payments. Every shared seat is one less car on the road, one less litre imported, a few more rupees that stay home.
With global oil prices climbing and our foreign exchange under strain, the country has been asked to drive less, share more, and travel lighter. Carpooling isn't a sacrifice — it might be the easiest patriotism on offer.
Every litre we don't import is a rupee that stays in India. Shared rides mean fewer cars, less fuel, more reserves.
Four Raahis in one car means three cars off the road. Less honking, less waiting, less rage at the signal.
Per-passenger emissions drop by more than half when a car runs full. Delhi's lungs notice. So do yours.
At a fixed ₹5/km, your daily commute can cost less than your morning chai. Split it three ways, even less.
Saath chalein, saath bachayein. Carpooling is the small, daily way to answer a national call — without a slogan.
Designed for Indian roads, Indian routes, Indian wallets — by people who drive the same streets as you.
Raahi isn't a taxi service. It's a way for people going the same way to travel together — and split the fuel honestly.
₹5 per kilometre. Always. No surge during traffic. No premium for rain. The fare you see when booking is the fare you pay.
Every driver is KYC-verified — Aadhaar, driving licence, vehicle papers. We check so you don't have to wonder.
Your fare locks in escrow when a Saarthi accepts. It's only released when the trip is done. No chasing, no fighting.
One app, two roles. Be a Raahi when you need a ride, a Saarthi when you're already driving. Here's how a trip flows from either side.
Tell Raahi where you're going. We surface Saarthis already heading that way — same direction, same hour, close to your stop.
Pick a trip you like. Your fare locks in escrow the moment the Saarthi accepts. Both get a reminder before departure.
Meet at the pickup point. Travel safely. Live status keeps your people in the loop the whole way.
Trip done. Money releases. You both rate each other — but neither rating shows until both have submitted.
Going somewhere anyway? Tell Raahi your route, your departure time, and how many seats you have free. Done in seconds.
Verified passengers request seats. You see their rating and trip history — then pick who rides. Their fare is already locked.
Pick everyone up at the agreed points. Drive as you planned. No surprise stops, no off-route detours, no haggling.
Drop-off completes the trip. Escrow releases to your wallet. Both sides rate — honestly, blindly, fairly.
Six small ideas that, put together, make carpooling actually work in India.
You rate the Saarthi. They rate you. Neither sees anything until both have submitted — so neither rating influences the other. Honest feedback only.
You see the Saarthi's rating, their car, their trip history — but not their name or phone until you're confirmed. Privacy by design.
Fixed forever. No surge, no premium, no surprises.
Only see trips that fit both your detour preference and the Saarthi's. No "5 km away" detours pretending to be on-route.
Going to the same office every day? Saarthis can share a private code so regulars book first — before anyone else sees the trip.
When a booking is confirmed, both Saarthi and Raahi get a reminder 30 minutes before departure. Customise it if you want to leave earlier. No one's late, no one's left waiting.
Your car, your days. Be a Saarthi when you're driving, a Raahi when you're not. One profile, one wallet, one rating history.
The best app is the one that gets out of your way. Everything you need, where you'd expect it.
No — Raahi is peer-to-peer carpooling, not a taxi service. Saarthis are regular people already going your way, sharing fuel costs at a fixed ₹5/km. No commercial drivers, no fleet operators.
Always ₹5 per kilometre, calculated on the trip's actual distance. If three Raahis share a 20-kilometre ride, that's ₹100 per seat — and the Saarthi gets ₹300. No surge, no platform commission distortion.
Every Saarthi is KYC-verified — government ID, driving licence, and vehicle papers. You see their rating, trip count, and vehicle details before booking. Names and phone numbers stay hidden until the trip is confirmed.
When a Saarthi accepts your booking, your fare moves from your wallet into a locked balance — held by Raahi, not transferred yet. It only releases to the Saarthi when the trip is completed. If anything goes wrong, you get an automatic refund.
Before the Saarthi accepts — no charge, full refund. After acceptance, refunds depend on how close to departure you cancel. The full policy is in the app.
If you see the Saarthi's rating of you before submitting yours, your rating is biased. So we hide both until both are submitted — or 7 days pass. The result: ratings that actually mean something.

To match riders with drivers and keep the platform safe, Raahi collects:
Your data is used to match trips, verify identities, calculate fares, process payments through escrow, prevent fraud, and improve the app. We never sell personal data to anyone, ever.
Other users see only your first name, photo, rating, and trip count — never your phone number or address until a trip is confirmed. Even then, calls are masked through a relay number.
You can request your data, correct it, or delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes personal data within 30 days, except records we're legally required to keep (e.g. tax invoices).

Raahi is a peer-to-peer carpooling platform. We connect Saarthis (people driving somewhere anyway) with Raahis (people going the same way) at a fixed fare of ₹5 per kilometre. Raahi is not a taxi service and does not employ drivers.
You must be 18 or older and have a valid Indian phone number. Saarthis must additionally hold a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, and valid insurance — all of which we verify before activation.
Fares are calculated at ₹5/km on the trip's planned distance. Payments are held in escrow when a Saarthi accepts a booking and released on trip completion. Raahi does not take a commission from the fare; the platform is supported by other revenue streams disclosed in-app.
Both Saarthis and Raahis agree to behave respectfully, follow road safety laws, and not use the platform for any commercial taxi-style operation. Repeated low ratings, no-shows, or safety complaints can lead to suspension or removal.
Raahi facilitates the connection between users; the trip itself is between you. Standard motor insurance applies. Raahi is not liable for incidents that fall outside the platform's reasonable control, but provides dispute resolution and emergency support.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
Full refund, instantly. The fare moves back from the locked balance to your wallet.
Full refund to your wallet, always. The Saarthi's cancellation rate is tracked — repeated cancellations lead to account review.
If the Saarthi is a no-show or the trip is not completed for reasons outside your control, you get an automatic full refund from escrow, plus a small inconvenience credit.
If something feels wrong — wrong route, unsafe driving, billing error — open a dispute in the app within 48 hours of trip end. Escrow releases pause while we review.
Wallet refunds are instant. Bank refunds (if you've withdrawn) take 3–7 working days depending on your bank.
Every Saarthi passes a four-step check before their first trip: government ID, driving licence, vehicle registration and insurance, and a live selfie match. Re-verification happens annually and whenever documents expire.
Names and phone numbers are hidden until a booking is confirmed. Even then, in-app calls are routed through a masked number — neither side ever sees the other's real digits.
Tap the safety button in any active trip to share live location with up to three trusted contacts. They see your route, your Saarthi's vehicle, and your ETA — until you tap "I've arrived".
The SOS button connects you to Raahi's 24x7 safety team and, if you choose, dials emergency services with your live location pre-shared. No fumbling, no explaining.
Ratings only show after both parties have submitted theirs (or after 7 days). No retaliation, no biased "I'll-rate-you-back" patterns. Repeat low scores trigger automatic review.
Women can opt to see and book only with female Saarthis or women-only carpools. This filter is one tap, anytime.
Anything that feels off, write to safety@withraahi.com or use the in-app Report flow. Every report is reviewed by a human.
